Fforwm Tirlun is an informal network for organisations, businesses and individuals with an interest in landscape and the landscape industry in Wales.
We define landscape broadly in line with the European Landscape Convention to include all land - urban, peri-urban and rural and the landscape industry to include all those activities to do with the planning, management and protection of these areas.
The aim of Fforwm Tirlun is to help the landscape industry in Wales win sustainable business.
The 'industry' in Wales is estimated to be worth over £600 million per annum and one that offers business opportunities for people with a wide variety of skills.
Fforwm Tirlun is sponsored by the Welsh Assembly Government and will help implement policies and programmes of the Assembly Government so that Wales' landscapes - the places we live, work, and spend our leisure time in - are more enjoyable for everyone.
Fforwm Tirlun is open to anyone with an interest in landscape to share views about ways in which we can all help to raise the quality and character of Wales' environment.
